Oracle has a new home.

Sat Jul 4, 2009, 11:45 AM
After weighing a bunch of different options, I've decided to move Oracle, along with all of my other web ventures, to its own dedicated site:

Its still free, and I am back on schedule for biweekly updates (wednesdays and sundays). The site has a bunch of other comics up as well (some on their way), and various other bells and whistles. I hope to see all of you over there, I'm very excited about this new venture and I'm starting to feel like a real cartoonist (whatever that means).

I'll keep this account open, mostly so I can keep track of the various people I've friended and their comics. For those of you with ongoing comics, I would be happy to link to you, just let me know. I've also got a decent amount of bandwidth; if anyone is looking for a dedicated host, let me know. As always, thanks for reading,

Adam

"Oracle" is an original graphic novel created exclusively for deviantArt (by "exclusively", I mean "posted here and a bunch of other places, which I guess isn't really what "exclusive means, but whatever). It was/is creatred, written and drawn by Adam Masterman, [link].

Check out my friends section below for other awesome comics that you can read right here on Deviant.

Thank you so much for the watch! It's delightful to see a fellow pursuer of the fine art of sequential storytelling.

I like your style and your wonderful sense of storytelling. It's nice to see something different here on DA.

Thanks, man. I've been loving Opey the Warhead; its got a subtle but very unique vibe (if that makes any sense), and the storytelling is great. Plus I'm envious of your pagecount (hoping to break 100 in a years time with Oracle).

No, what you're saying makes perfect sense and I appreciate your comment greatly. I'm glad you think my comic is unique and you enjoy the storytelling. I don't want to do cookie cutter stuff but, rather, do my own thing. That's what I found attractive about your work, something that's focusing on storytelling rather than doing whatever's cool at the moment. There needs to be more people like you.

Yes, there do need to be more people like me. :D

Seriously, glad you like it. I actually do want people to dig Oracle, I'm just guessing that people would rather have 100 pages of well told, interesting story, than 15 pages with nice inks and colors. Looking for readers rather than lookers, I guess, which is why I'm only "friending" people who have comics that you can read. Put in the words, people!!!

Thanks for the watch!

I hope you'll also check out my webcomic [link]

Now, if you'll excuse me, looks like I've got some reading to do. Your graphic novel looks very exciting!

Yeah, I just checked it out, looks pretty sweet. Your art makes a huge jump in quality in the middle of chapter 3; was there a time gap, or did you just wake up awesome one day? :D
:icontimartstudio:
There was a time gap. I decided to concentrate on colored images and working on Techgal Con Special 2, which I am currently posting in my gallery.

Then there are days I wake up a little extra awesome...;)
